"Keeping It Going...The E-Zine Luster! "

Hi Gang,

Thanks for being here, I value every one of you and truly hope that you become successful online!

I admit it, I am waaaaayy late with this issue, my apologies. My wife and I had our first child, Vivian Lane Augustine, so we're quite busy!

Needless to say, my wife's been de-throned, there's a new boss of the house and right now she only weighs 11lbs.

Keeping It Going, The E-zine Luster!

If you've ever wondered what its like to create and publish an e-zine, this might be a full albeit short issue. E-zines work very well, publishing one is a great way to keep in touch with your subscribers, figure out what people want, and generally spread good will. I'll never be anything but happy that I've published this e-zine for a long as I have...almost 2 years now and some of you've been here the whole time! Thanks for joining me.

But, I can certainly understand why some people who are well known publishers sometimes struggle to publish something useful. Sometimes publishing an e-zine can be time consuming and can actually have a high opportunity cost if not done with true enthusiasm!

The truth is, while writing an e-zine is fun, the publisher should remain of the mind set that the information provided in it should actually help other people get what they want. Writing an e-zine takes time, time that could be spent on marketing and increasing profits...so, its a trade-off...we publishers have to know that the time spent is worthwhile, even if it means sacrificing time to help other people. And, realistically, publishing an e-zine helps the publisher although I admit sometimes it doesn't feel that way!

I receive a newsletter that's written by one of thee top people who market on the web and he said in one of his issues -

"...actually, sometimes I don't want to write this e-zine, I could be making affiliate sales...".

Of course, he wasn't being malicious, but one of his subscribers was complaining that he put an affiliate link in his e-zine issue.

Duh!

Every e-zine publisher that I know use affiliate links...but ya know, someone's always got to complain.

Anyway, other than me giving you a quick bird's eye viewpoint of life as an e-zine publisher, what's the point of this edition?

Its a basic point, but it is good news for all you newbies or people who haven't been able to reach the level of success that you want in your Internet business...

The point is "There's only so much you can learn that will actually translate into more dollars for you in your Internet business".

That's a tough truth for some to swallow...this is one reason e-zine publishers subscribe to article lists, they want to get something useful for the reader that they don't have to spend time writing...and, the basics of Internet marketing really don't change!

One of our loyal "Starting Smart!" members emailed me and asked how he could keep up with all the changes of the Internet...he didn't want to start an Internet business because he felt he'd be behind the times by the time he got a product developed...hogwash!

Getting back to "there's only so much you can learn that will translate to profits"...its not that any one person knows everything, we all keep learning.

But, learning and doing are 2 very different things.

Don't get sucked into being a bookworm and being a "take the latest course read everything you can" person, you gotta do something.

Human psychology doesn't change, the wants are the same, one of those wants is to learn how to make money.

Which brings me to my next point - last issue I talked about Virtual Real Estate Empires...having a VRE is a nice thought for anyone who wants to leverage the power of the web. I don't have an empire by any means...but I do have success and am looking for more 'wins' so to speak

Of course, I want to help people along the way just like the people I learned from helped me along the way.

I'm developing a product that will illuminate how to successfully build a niche web site from soup to nuts.

And, the abovementioned "there's only so much you can learn" pieces will be fully covered in that product.

I'll include step by step videos for you as well...you can look over my shoulder like you're standing behind me watching what I do, where I click, what sites I view, etc..

I'll show you the deep details of ALL key points to niche web site building:

*SEO, "on page" and "off page" traffic factors
*The truth about other people's content
*Templates and include files
*FTP
*Domain selection
*Keyword research and market research
*Sales copy
*Conversion
*And obviously, much more!

This is going to be a big product, lots of info...I'm going to show you exactly how I built my successful niche website.

This product won't be cheap due to the content level, time spent in development, and value of information included.
